Personal and Team Security Management
Humanitarian and DRR work is often undertaken in unstable and at risk contexts where personal and team security are integral to programme actions. The contents of this course are particularly relevant to humanitarian aid workers and agencies who are involved in relief aid programmes in unstable settings. The overall aim of this course is to enhance participants understanding of the principles and application of security risk management framework. It also delves into personal well-being and safety and provides basic skills on first aid, radio and GPS usage, coping with insecurity, reacting and reporting on security incidents.
