Foundational Courses
These courses provide introductory and critical knowledge and skills to be humanitarian workers and are pre-requisites for deployment and enrolment to the roster. The ToTs are minimum requirements to be a RedR Trainer. Our foundational courses prepare humanitarian professionals to gain competence on working in hard and complex situations with comprehensive understanding of essential values and standards in humanitarian practice.
Operational Courses
Humanitarian and DRR programming requires to follow systematic processes of assessment, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. RedR India’s operational courses help participants to enhance their knowledge and skills on the critical areas of humanitarian and DRR programming. These courses also help participants to understand complexity of the humanitarian context, cross cutting issues and key considerations in programming.
Technical Courses in Disaster Response
As guided by global standards, humanitarian response is operationalized through the technical knowledge of Food Security Nutrition, Health, WASH and Shelter sector as well as crosscutting themes. RedR India’s technical courses provide technical knowledge and skills for managing and implementing humanitarian response with special reference to sectors and cross cutting themes.
Technical Courses in Risk Reduction
Guided by global frameworks like SFDRR, SDGs and governed by national policies and programmes disaster risk reduction and resilience building is continuously evolving process. RedR India’s technical courses on DRR offer wide range of technical courses ranging from community preparedness to mainstreaming DRR in development planning. RedR India’s technical courses on DRR are specifically designed with an emphasis of knowledge and practice.
