RedR India manages a roster of selected professionals who are available to deploy for humanitarian and disaster risk reduction assignments. To become a member, a professional has to apply and undergo a stringent selection process. An interested candidate goes through different stages which begins from the expression of interest/nomination, followed by an application form, reference checks, personal interview and final completion on participating in RedR India’s mandatory training courses, Essentials of Humanitarian Practice (EHP) and Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) courses, as well as recommended training course(s) which the Interview Panel may advise for additional self-learning and experience to prepare the applicants to be a roster member.
Who can apply?
RedR India recommends at least three years’ experience in their technical field, and experience working in humanitarian response.
