RedR India in partnership with RedR UK and NGO Forum conducted a series of training to support the national and international NGOs that work in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, on providing humanitarian assistance to the Rohingya refugee population and the host communities.

Finally, it will include mentoring at field level to support the operationalization and implementation of these principles.
Humanitarian Practice for TATA Group (2015- Current)
RedR India has had a long-standing relationship with the TATAs through their sister organization Tata Sustainability Group (TSG). They work diligently for disaster response and have already done 5 large scale responses. RedR India provides them with technical inputs to build their capacities towards the cause. During the Uttarakhand floods in 2014, RedR conducted review and assessment to inform their intervention planning. It also trained front line workers in hygiene promotion and First Aid along with the basics of Disaster Response. RedR also designed and delivered a series of introductory courses on Humanitarian Practice for them, called the “Essentials of Disaster Response Management”. Till date, it has conducted the training for 5 batches of Project Managers and 2 Refresher courses for already trained Project Managers, over a period of 4 years. RedR has also designed their volunteer rollout package that helps them to orient volunteers on the field during a response. It has also conducted two training courses on Procurement and Supply Chain Management for TSG. Till date, RedR India has trained more than 200 participants through its capacity building services for the TATA group.
Introduction to Disaster Management and Practice (Reliance Foundation, 2016)
Over the past few years, Reliance Foundation has significantly extended its philanthropic initiatives towards responding to the disaster-affected communities in India. Introduction to Disaster Management (Jindal South West, 2016)
Motivated by the devastating losses caused by the apparent rise in the frequency and intensity of disasters occurring in India, Jindal South West (JSW) Foundation wanted to use its resources to contribute to Disaster Management in the country. Mainly, it wished to engage in post-disaster response, through its Employee Volunteerism program. While the motivation existed, it was observed that most employees lacked the essential knowledge, skills and sensitivities required to work effectively in post-disaster situations. With the objective of addressing these gaps and building internal capacities within the employee base to facilitate effective relief operations, JSW Foundation approached RedR India to partner in the process. As a step in this direction, RedR India in consultation with the Foundation developed and delivered a 2-day training course on “Introduction to Disaster Management” for select employees at the 6 different JSW locations.
