Assessments and Evaluations

RedR India conducts assessments and evaluations across the Disaster Risk Management Cycle (DRM Cycle). These assignments often include emergency needs assessment and planning, learning needs assessment and organizational capacity building plans and, mid-term reviews and evaluations of DRM initiatives among other assignments.   Coordinated assessments are also undertaken in partnership with different humanitarian actors (such as on-field responders, allied humanitarian agencies, humanitarian personnel, media) in order to assess and identify the needs of the affected population, laying the foundation for a coherent and effective humanitarian response. Our assignments are expected to inform and yield improved intervention processes and practices that directly impact prioritization and delivery of risk reduction measures and aid.
