RedR India welcomes your interest to intern with us. The internship prospects are open across the three portfolios: Learning and Development, Projects and Technical Support and Training and Capacity Building.
In summary engaging within a portfolio will involve:
1. Learning and Development
- Facilitating Knowledge building and sharing through learning events
- Meaningful partnership for innovations and ventures for knowledge creations
- Developing new training courses with reference to changing the external environment and global frameworks
- Initiatives for innovating approaches, conceptual frameworks relevant to the needs of at-risk communities and humanitarian actors
2. Projects and Technical Support
We provide technical support for Disaster Risk Management (DRM) through our project services that are unique in its interface with humanitarian and DRR actors as support functions that help implement, increase effectiveness, and inform good practice and learning on DRM. RedR India carries out projects mainly in India, the South Asian region and sporadically in other geographies. The projects are broadly categorized into
- Studies and Reviews
- Assessments and evaluations
- Capacity Building
- Technical and Project Advisory
3. Training and Capacity Building
Our training courses are conducted in two modalities –
1) be-spoke or on-demand training courses that are designed and delivered on request from humanitarian agencies and bodies, and
2) in-house training courses that include our standard courses that are open for anyone to attend.
An intern will predominantly focus on developing, planning and executing our in house training courses.
