Become a Trainer at RedR India

RedR’s trainers are a motivated group who are well-recognized practitioners in humanitarian and DRR practice. All our trainers besides being skilled trainers and influencers also share core values which are critically important and not easily quantifiable.

RedR courses traditionally have been using knowledge and experience-based understanding to build a foundation for professional practice in humanitarian response. In-depth field experiences and high-quality professional preparation have been the distinctive factors of RedR training courses. In RedR courses emphasis is on active learning through participatory group exercises, case studies, role-play, focused discussion, simulations and at times, practice with equipment used in the field.

To respond to the learning needs of people from diverse backgrounds, RedR India adopts training practices and quality assurance mechanisms that are culturally respectful and responsibly delivered with ethical behavior and desired level of professionalism. Some of the critical success factors for a RedR India trainer are leadership in learning to learners and co-trainers, transfer of professional skills and knowhow and humanitarian commitment.

To ensure these, RedR brings on board trainers and invites them to undertake our ToT, do shadow training before being entrusted with delivering training courses as co-trainers and lead trainers.
